Louis Vuitton Tambour watch collection was defined as the “minute to minute travel”. At Basel World 2011, again Louis Vuitton has presented the new fine Tambour Capsule Voyage collection created by Louis Vuitton Swiss watch workshop. This series including two models: Voyagez and Volez.

With the horizontal lines just like the airplane wings on both sides of the Letter “V“, Louis Vuitton Tambour Capsule Voyage of Volez Automatic Fly Back Chronograph has immediately become an embodiment of aircraft.

Volez Automatic Fly Back Chronograph features a “V” shaped airplane logo at 12 o’clock, a dial in dark and light gray two tones decorated with unique rivets. Two sub-dial drawn inspirations from the aviation instrument are respectively located at 9 and 3 o’clock. The yellow indices on the edge of the dial indicate the Fly Back chronograph– it was one of the necessary functions of aviation travel.

Volez Automatic Fly Back Chronograph is equipped with automatic chronograph caliber LV137, which is created by Dubois-Dépraz workshop in Swiss and provide a power reserve up to 42 hours. It features a small seconds sub-dial at 3 o’clock and a 30-minute sub-dial at 9 o’clock, a date display at 6 o’clock just like the portholes on the aircraft which reveals the elegant details of the watch. It comes in a masculine steel case with a diameter of 44 mm; the case side is engraved with 12 alphabets of LOUIS VUITTON. It is accompanied by a crocodile leather strap with a “V” shaped airplane logo, this design not only highlight the adventurous spirit and personalized temperament of the wearer, but also interpret the inherited cultural connotation of this series.

Louis Vuitton Voyagez “Tachometer” chronograph (gray dial model) is available in a rose gold model, together with Volez Automatic Fly Back Chronograph both of them are produced in a limited edition.

As a nautical-themed watch, Louis Vuitton Tambour Regatta automatic watch automatically uses the dark blue as the dial’s background. At the same time, such color tone, fitly highlights and brightens the red Louis Vuitton’s traditional V mark, while the interaction of black, white, blue, red several different colors makes this whole watch appears to be shiny.
